Are Your Parkas Waterproof?

Our parkas are shower-proof, not fully waterproof.
Over time, normal wear, washing, or wearing the parka while heavily saturated (e.g., straight after swimming) can reduce the water resistance of the outer layer. In some cases, moisture may transfer through. This is considered normal wear and not a fault in the garment.

How Much Is Shipping?

  • FREE shipping on all Australian orders over $150

  • Orders under $150: $12.50 flat rate (Australia-wide)

  • International shipping: calculated at checkout

How Does Shipping & Delivery Work?

We ship orders Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Once dispatched, you’ll receive an email with tracking details.
Please note: We ship from multiple warehouses, so larger orders may arrive in separate packages depending on stock availability.

Can I Exchange or Refund My Parka?

We offer a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase.
To be eligible, the parka must be unworn with tags attached.

  • A $15 repackaging and shipping fee applies to all returns and refunds.

  • Customers are responsible for return postage.

What Size Should I Buy for My Child?

We recommend selecting one size up from your child’s usual Australian clothing size for the longest wear.
For example: If your child wears a size 10, choose a size 12.

My Zipper Isn’t Working — What Should I Do?

All Schmik parkas use a double-ended zipper.
This allows you to unzip from the bottom while seated, giving extra room and comfort.

If your zipper feels stuck, ensure both ends are aligned and clipped securely before zipping. If you still need help, email us and we’ll assist.

Are Your Products PFAS Free?

Yes — all Schmik Swim Parkas are 100% PFAS-free.

How Do I Wash My Schmik Parka?

To keep your parka looking its best:

  • Cold gentle machine wash

  • Do not tumble dry

  • Line dry only

  • Do not iron or bleach

  • Avoid fabric softeners and harsh detergents
