Consumer Guarantees (Australian Consumer Law)
At Schmik Swim Parkas, we comply with the Australian Consumer Law.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. This means our products must be:

Of acceptable quality

Safe and durable

Fit for their intended purpose

Free from manufacturing defects

Match their description
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
These consumer guarantees apply automatically and are in addition to any other store policies.
What Is Considered a Major Failure?
A major failure occurs when:

The product cannot be used for its normal purpose and cannot be easily fixed
Minor Faults
If an item has a minor manufacturing fault, Schmik Swim Parkas reserves the right to choose the most appropriate remedy, which may include:

What Is Not Covered
Consumer guarantees do not apply where the issue is caused by:

Incorrect washing or care

Misuse or damage

Failure to follow care instructions
